Pink Sheath Dresses

A pink sheath dress is fitted, feminine and full of life. It brings a bright pop of colour to spring weddings, summer parties and smart lunches. Our edit is small but carefully chosen. Each style has a straight, close-fitting cut that sits at the knee, with short, cap or 3/4 sleeves. Every dress is designed and made in England.

What is a sheath dress?

A sheath dress is fitted through the body and falls straight to the hem. It has no full skirt and no waist seam that flares out. The result is a sleek, column-like line.

It is very close to a pencil dress. The pencil narrows a little more at the knee. Browse our pencil dresses to compare the two shapes.

The Donna Short sleeve Pencil Dress is light and easy for warm days. The Polly Cap Sleeved Pencil Dress has a neat cap sleeve that frames the shoulder. See more in our cap sleeve dresses.

The Ionian Sleeved Pencil Skirt Dress offers a little more coverage. The Ogle Pencil Dress is a clean, simple shape. All four styles sit on the knee and have a round neckline.

Not sure which sleeve suits you? Our guide to the different types of short sleeves explains each one.

Fabric and fit

Most styles here use Bi-Stretch. It is smooth, resists creases and holds a bright colour well. One style uses Ribbed Super Stretch, also known as Ottoman. It is firm and ribbed, so we suggest one size up.

A sheath dress is cut close to the body. Check our size guide before you order, and measure bust, waist and hips.

How to style pink

  • Nude or metallic heels keep the look fresh.
  • Navy or grey accessories tone pink down for work.
  • Gold jewellery adds warmth for a wedding or party.
  • A white or cream jacket suits spring events.

Love bright colour? Our cobalt blue dresses are another bold option.

Pink feels joyful, so it suits happy occasions. Wear it to a christening, an engagement party or a summer birthday. It also works at the office in a relaxed workplace, especially with a navy blazer.

For a spring wedding, pair it with a soft grey or nude fascinator. Keep the bag small and neat so the colour stays the focus.

Cool skin tones often suit blue-pinks. Warm skin tones often suit softer, coral-leaning pinks.

Can I wear a pink sheath dress to a wedding?

Yes. Pink is a cheerful guest colour, especially in spring and summer.

Ours use stretch fabric, so you can sit and move with ease. Bi-Stretch also resists creases, so you stay neat all day.
