Business Dresses

Business dresses for the days that count. Client meetings, pitches, interviews and conferences all call for a sharper look. Our edit is tailored to give you that confidence. Every style is designed and made in England in stretch fabrics that hold their shape. Choose short, 3/4 or long sleeves. Most styles sit neatly on the knee. Navy and black lead the edit.

Dressing for client-facing days

First impressions happen fast, often before you say a word. A well-cut dress tells people you are prepared. It also leaves you free to focus on the meeting, not your outfit.

A business dress should fit cleanly through the shoulders and waist. It should not ride up when you sit at a table. Our pencil cuts are shaped to do exactly that.

Styles to know

The Lydia is our most popular business style. It comes with short, 3/4 or long sleeves, plus a midi version. The Sasha has a high neck for a crisp, modern line. The Bix pencil dress has a front zip that adds a little edge.

Prefer more movement? The Haddington and Fabienne are 3/4 sleeved A-line dresses. The Fabienne even has pockets. Browse more sleeve options in our 3/4 sleeve dresses.

Interview dressing tips

  • Pick navy, black or a deep blue for a calm, assured look.
  • Choose a sleeved style if you are unsure of the dress code.
  • Layer a tailored jacket from our coats and jackets.
  • Keep jewellery small, so the focus stays on you.

Fit that works around the table

Business days often mean long hours sitting down. A good business dress should stay smooth across the lap. It should not gape at the neckline when you lean forward to take notes.

Our dresses are cut with a little stretch through the body. Many have hip pleating, which helps the skirt sit flat. A centre back vent means you can walk briskly between meetings.

Business dresses FAQs

Can I see a business dress before I buy?

Yes. Book an appointment at our London showroom at 146 New Cavendish Street.

What should I wear to an interview?

A sleeved, knee-length business dress in a dark colour is a safe choice. Add a jacket for corporate roles.

Which fabrics do you use?

Mostly Moss Crepe, Ripple Crepe and Ottoman. With Ottoman we suggest going one size up, as the rib is firm.

Are these dresses too formal for a casual office?

Not at all. Swap heels for flats and drop the jacket for a relaxed look. A bright colour or short sleeve also feels less formal.

How do I check my size?

Sizes run S (UK 10) to XXL (UK 18). See our size guide for full measurements.
