Billie Eilish’s channeled Burberry Beekeeper for the American Music Awards and the Internet is Loving It

Many of the outfits at this years American Music Awards were to be expected, ball gowns and thigh-high split dresses, with maybe the exception of Taylor's cape. But, it true Eilish fashion, Billed rocked up wearing 'one of the coolest looks of the night: a  pair of Burberry pyjamas. Comfort but make it fashun.'

The 17 year old singer make her make with the British designer’s heritage plaid print, wearing matching trainers, but ‘it was her white bedazzled chainmail bonnet, which got fans comparing the “Bad Guy” singer to a fashionable beekeeper and we’re here for it’. 

ET spoke with the "Bad Guy" singer on the red carpet, who further explained her outfit: "So this is upcycle for Burberry, so it's all, like, redone Burberry by Burberry. They made it for me. It's all, like, old pieces made into new." 

Bilie won Artist of the Year at the 2019 awards ceremony and rocked the sparkly headgear, which pretty much completely covered her face for the whole of the red carpet. Which meant that for every interview, every photograph, Bilies face was obscured, which only seemed to fuel her fans obsession with the outfit more. 

As Cosmo says ‘the AMAs was the first time the teen performed live at a televised award show, giving fans a fire performance of her single ‘All the Good Girls Go to Hell’ before winning Favourite Artist - Alternative Rock’.

Once she got inside the awards show, Billie ditched her sparkly beekeeper look, ‘sporting her trademark green and black locks, donning a pair of matching silver diamond chains and a pair of chunky silver hoops.’
