Off-Shoulder Dresses for Wedding Guests
Nothing quite says demure wedding guest dress than one that elegantly falls off-shoulder. And, just as luck would have it, we have plenty to feast your eyes on! Here we’re going through our favourite off-shoulder dresses, how we would wear them and what accessories suit us best. How do you cover up off shoulder dresses? With summer slowly coming to a close it’s always a good idea to invest in a good cover-up for your off-shoulder dress. The great thing is that it doesn’t need to be expensive, an oversized blazer would carry elegant chic without having to break the bank for a new outfit accessory. An oversized blazer will always find a home in your wardrobe with fitted shirts and skinny jeans. What accessories to wear with off shoulder dress? With an off-shoulder dress exposing the shoulders and neckline, you have two options: leave bare or add jewellery. As a lover of all things sparkly, we always opt for jewellery! With an off-shoulder dress though, you have more options to choose from. Beginning with soft silver necklaces, cute pendants to faux pearl chokers. If the off-shoulder dress that you choose has an equally lower back, then you could also reach out for a necklace, that you wear the opposite way – as a back necklace. How to wear an off-the-shoulder dress with a bra? If you’re wearing an off-shoulder dress you may choose not to wear a bra, however, in many cases it’s not really an option! If you have a bigger bust, for example, you may find you don’t feel as supported without one. We suggest sourcing a strapless bra. Investing in a good quality strapless bra means that you can repeatedly wear it when opting for your strapless clothing or clothing with thinner straps, like spaghetti straps. Alternatively, if you don’t find strapless bras supportive enough, then you could always opt for a clear strap bra – however, these aren’t as transparent as you would think! Whilst our dresses are suitable for formal and casual environments we would err on the side of caution when it comes to wearing an off-shoulder dress in the workplace. Why you may ask? Simply it depends on what it is you do for your work! If you work in an office environment you may find that wearing an off-shoulder dress simply isn't comfortable and may restrict you from certain tasks. For this reason, we suggest keeping your off-shoulder dresses for both formal and casual events outside work, where you can literally let your hair down! What Sizes Can Wear an Off-Shoulder Dress? Any size! That’s the brilliance of a variety of designs. Some designs look better in one shape than the other, so we’ve made sure to cover all bases by offering a variety of designs in our off-shoulder dress collection.
